What is ModernAuthorize?
ModernAuthorize is both a merchant account and a credit card processing service that we are providing in conjunction with BluePay. Our partnership with BluePay was negotiated on behalf of our ModernBill customers to represent absolutely the best offer available for US companies. Our exclusive partnership with Bluepay provides the lowest available rates, reasonable monthly fees, and no annual or setup fees.
Can I get a product like this at my local bank?
Many banks now offer merchant processing services. However, most banks specifically require a physical credit card and a credit card reading machine in order to accept and process credit card payments. ModernAuthorize accounts are specifically designed to cater to online merchants.
What is the difference between ModernAuthorize and 2checkout, PaySystems and PayPal?
We will refer to these types of accounts occassionally as "third-party accounts." This is because the account they offer is essentially a shared account from a third-party provider.
