Domains of a web host
Jude Augusta, ICA
Jude Augusta is the Executive Director of The Internet Commerce Association ("The ICA"). The ICA is the voice of Internet commerce and entrepreneurship, fighting for owners of Domains around the globe. The ICA bolsters the legitimacy and credibility of the domain-name monetization industry and seeks to lend no aid to those that seek to intentionally infringe on intellectual property rights. Additionally, the organization is successfully exerting pressure for transparency and fairness in Domain Name Governance. Michael Johnson
Microsoft Corporation
Michael spent 7+ years employed in the Web services provider space, where he developed and architect high scalable applications and solution on Microsoft products. He is currently working as a Web Platform Architect Evangelist for Microsoft. Michael is responsible for driving awareness and adoption of Microsoft Web Platform and tools products. He works with Microsoft CSNA solution teams and several products groups to ensure that our products meet the needs of customers. Michael joined Microsoft in October 2004, as the first Web Platform Architect Evangelists responsible for working with North America hosting providers.

Jothan Frakes, Director of Strategic Accounts, Oversee.net
Jothan Frakes is Director of Strategic Accounts at Oversee.net working with DomainSponsor and the Corporate Development team at Oversee.net in the area of Domain Portfolio Acquisitions. Jothan is a frequent public speaker on the domain marketplace. Previously, Jothan was the Vice President of Business Development at Name Intelligence, operators of Domain Tools and was the executive event producer for the 2005 and 2006 Domain Roundtable Conferences. He also served as senior manager at VeriSign Naming and Directory Services in engineering.
He has specialized in Domain Name technical operations and DNS since 1993, with a particular career focus on ccTLD and gTLD operations and the ccTLD industry, NANOG, and the ICANN process. In the past decade, Jothan has been Technical Operator of 5 ccTLDs, and CTO of a registrar/registry company, and is versed in the provisioning and delivery systems for registration and resolution systems used in TLD operations. Jothan is a member of the ISOC, a frequent contributor to CircleID, ICANN Wiki, and ICANNWatch. He is the inventor of some interesting domain technology use, and is currently authoring a book on the Domain Name Industry.
Legal Issues Surrounding the Web Hosting Industry
David Snead
Mr. Snead is an attorney in private practice in Washington D.C. His practice focuses exclusively on representing web hosting companies and other entities active in the internet infrastructure. In his 13 years in this area, Mr. Snead has represented these companies both in-house and as outside counsel. He has spoken extensively on subjects of importance at conferences ranging from HostingCon to ISPCON. His views on the impact of Federal legislation on small-to-medium internet businesses have been quoted in the Washington Post and San Jose Mercury News, and is a columnist for the Web Host Industry Review. Mr. Snead received his J.D. in 1991 from Georgetown University Law Center and is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia and State of New Mexico.
Moderator for Reseller Panel Isabel Wang
One of the Web hosting industry's longest-standing citizens, Isabel Wang is also a high-tech enthusiast. Isabel has been in the web hosting industry for almost 10 years. As the co-founder of ISPcheck, she sold banner ads to early web hosting pioneers. As editor and publisher of Web Hosting Magazine, she wrote about the dotcom boom - and bust. And as VP Communications at EV1Servers, she learned about the dedicated servers business first hand. You can reach her at isabel@isabelwang.com
Exchange Panel William Toll
William Toll has held product management positions in the Web hosting and financial industry since the late 1990s. Now at the Exchange and Web hosting provider Intermedia.NET, William is responsible for developing the company's hosted product lines. In past positions at companies such as Affinity Internet, Inc., and NTT/VERIO William was the driving force in launching successful Microsoft Exchange and ASP.NET Hosting services. Most recently, William was responsible for Affinity's Gate.com brand and its new clustered Windows Server 2003 shared hosting platform launch. William received a BA in Marketing from New England College in Arundel, England.

Moderator Jon McCarrick
Jonathan McCarrick has over 6 years experience in the Web hosting and Billing Automation Industries. He has extensive experience with implementing fraud abatement programs in businesses of varying sizes. He is currently responsible for new business development and creating strategic partnerships within the Hosting and ISP industries. Jon is considered a subject matter expert on billing and fraud prevention throughout the industry. Prior to ModernGigabyte, LLC Jon was an attorney in private practice at Fore, Miller and Scwartz in Louisville, KY. He is also the In-house Counsel and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ModernGigabyte, LLC. Jon holds a B.A. in History and a J.D. in Law from the University of Louisville.

Michael Fountain
Michael Fountain has over eleven years experience in the software development and management industry. He has built and managed the development of over twenty production class applications and services for companies ranging from Moderngigabyte, LLC to Amazon.com. As co-founder of ModernGigabyte in 1999, he has been instrumental in developing the core foundation of the company as it is today with ModernGigabyte's flagship product, ModernBill.
Prior to Moderngigabyte, LLC, Fountain was the Manager of the Web Site Production at Amazon.com for the “Hardlines Department” in Seattle, WA.
Fountain holds a B.S.B.A in Management Information Systems from the University of Southern Mississippi
