ModernBill Integration
SSLfactory was designed specifically with ModernBill users in mind. SSL Certificates are the third most requested item sold by our customers behind hosting and domain registration. Up until now, selling this product has been complicated and difficult. It required at least a minimum of support contact on every single transaction and can often occupy as much as an hour of support time. The margins on this sort of product are good, but not sufficiently high to justify the support required. However, many hosting companies must offer this product for the E-commerce customers. To this end, we set out to offer a more automated, cost effective solution.
SSLfactory API
SSLfactory was developed to be used in conjunction with an API connection. This API has been tightly integrated into ModernBill. It will allow your customers to order SSL Certificates from our integrated ModernBill order form, have their payment verified before processing the request, and create the cert from the ModernBill customer interface. This API will permit your customer to perform the task directly that you formerly would have done. Additionally, the process is 100% web based to avoid the need for physical production of documents.
ModernBill Options
You can sell SSL Certificates on their own order form as a stand alone item for solo sales or as an add-on to a hosting package. Both methods will correctly charge the user for their Cert. Once the payment has been collected and verified through your fraud prevention mechanisms, the customer can register their Cert. When used in conjunction with our FruadGuardian.com product, these transactions can be completely automated on good orders while reducing the risk from suspect orders.
